Litharia is a traditional restaurant taverna, located in the village of Nikoli, which is near the tourist resort of Vassiliki, on the south part of Lefkada in Greece. It is owned by the Voukelatou's family which has managed with great care to bring out the shop and make it be one of the best dining places of Lefkas island. Whether you are visiting us just for a coffee or a delicious meal ( tasting our traditional cuisine ), you can enjoy a relaxing atmosphere, a friendly welcome and an amazing view across to the sea.
LOCAL DISHES There are many dishes that one must try. The cool riganada , bread with olive oil, oregano accompanied by tomatoes and feta cheese, the homemade zucchini pie or the delicious fresh coat cheese and thechicken with red sauce . Of course the meal can be finished with a delicious traditional sweet.
WHERE WE ARE The restaurant is located at the foot of the highest mountain of the island into a lush landscape. The path for the village is really beautiful. The visitor passes through a forest of pine trees to reach the Nikoli from where you can enjoy the stunning views of the Ionian Sea .
